- Severe Toothache: Rinse gently with warm salt water and use over-the-counter pain relievers as directed. Never apply aspirin directly to the gums.
- Knocked-Out Permanent Tooth: Hold the tooth by the top (crown)—never touch the root. Store it in a sealed container of cold milk and seek immediate urgent care.
- Swelling / Facial Trauma: Apply a cold compress to reduce facial swelling. If swelling affects breathing or swallowing, visit the nearest emergency room (such as Marian Regional Medical Center) immediately.
